Architects Douglas Harris and Reid deJarnette Wood have both earned their LEED Professional Accreditation.
As LEED Accredited Professionals, the architects have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and the LEED Rating System.
The United States Green Building Council created LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) as a rating system for green building. Green building refers to the design, construction, and operation of buildings in an environmentally friendly way, recognizing performance in five key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor environmental quality.
